These upgrades to the Plus software will allow our customers to continue designing their next project with greater flexibility.

The prototype pricing isn't too bad with either package, whereas using Altium means I'll have to go with a place like Advanced Circuits, which IIRC is quite a bit more expensive. ExpressPCB is excited to announce several enhancements to its ExpressPCB Plus Layout Software. Perhaps I should recreate my work done in ExpressPCB to see how it is. I'm interested in hearing your opinions - do you think that PCB123 is a better way to go? The software looks a bit more polished. Still not sure about ExpressPCB Check out alternatives and read real reviews from real users.

PCB123 looks like it has some import capabilities, though. With the help of Capterra, learn about ExpressPCB, its features, pricing information, popular comparisons to other 3D CAD products and more. EXPRESS PCB TUTORIAL Revised 1 This tutorial leads you through the design of a PCB using layout software from ExpressPCB, which is freeware available at Before beginning you should make sure your computer has both ExpressPCB and ExpressSCH, if not than you should download the software. Quote your prototype PCB fabrication and prototype PCB assembly online. We handle basic thru hole to standard surface mount, to ultra-fine-pitch BGA. It doesn't look like you can export / import parts into your schematics / PCB layouts. PCB Assembly Express offers fast and reliable printed circuit board assembly services at affordable prices. Once you work in ExpressPCB, you're pretty much locked in, though. Another option is PCB123, which I've never used before. I think Protel/Altium is too complex for what I do (I'm not an EE by trade), so it's probably overkill, and may be tougher to get access to the EE's workstation here (since it's nodelocked and we don't have floating licenses). ExpressPCB is really simple, but comparing it to Altium is like comparing MS Paint to Photoshop. I have used ExpressPCB and Protel/Altium before.
